Gentlemen Only, Ladies Forbidden? Get Real.
Say hello to championship golf for women in Southampton in 2013. It is absolutely official. The 2013 Women’s United States Open will be held at Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton. Sebonack is a fabulous private club and this will be the first time they get to host anything super major (the club hasn’t been around very long) and it is going to bring back professional golf to the area. We haven’t seen golf played on this level since 2004.
So you got four years to train on the course. Get out there and play!

Man below decides to use a shark as a tow boat. We just have to ask Lars from Main Beach surf shop his thoughts. Is this the next cool thing to do this summer?

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! The New York Post reported this morning that a construction worker/Red Sox fan thought that he would try to jinx the stadium by burying a Red Sox jersey beneath the concrete floor. On top of that, it is the concrete floor inside the future visitors locker room!
Man I can’t wait for this season.

It’s official. The East Hampton High School boy’s basketball team are the best on Long Island. Way to go fellas. That’s a tough thing to pull off.
In front of 2,500 people at the Old Westbury arena, the Bonackers showed what they were made of. With Mike Russell, Jerome Russell, Hayden Ward, Marcus Edwards and the rest of the crew putting in everything they had, and coach Ed Petrie, their coach since they were all freshmen, supporting them, the team turned their dream into a reality.

If you want to head up in a stunt plane in East Hampton, the guy to talk with is Bruno Schreck from www.aerialaesthetics.com.
We have to say, this guy is nuts, but in a good way. He’ll strap you into a stunt plane and then fly right next to you taking high resolution photos. I took, a video camera to give you a live view. Check it out, so cool. You can organize a flight yourself by calling 631-324-5429

With September, what else is there to do then to wait around for the Film Festival? Go watch local Football of course! With a bit of drama surrounding the coaching staff, it seems that everybody is pretty excited about having Coach Bill Barbour, the young local East Hamptonite that lead the team to victory last week against Hauppauge and is starting out his first year of coaching on the right foot. Bonac will be playing home next Thursday against Huntington home at 3:30 p.m. If you drive by the field and see them practicing, don’t hesitate to beep your horn and scream out the window like the wild fan you are.
