Acclaimed Actress and Enchanting Children’s Author, JULIANNE MOORE Will Read at BookHampton’s Story Hour in Amagansett.
Amagansett? Yes, they opened a new one.
Julianne Moore, whose film credits include literary masterpiece The Hours, Far From Heaven and the iconoclastic The Big Lebowski has also achieved considerable recognition for her children’s story books.
Saturday August 29 at 10am, Ms Moore will be the Guest Author. The newest BookHampton, located on the Main Street corner of Amagansett Square, has become a popular ‘hang-out’ for young listeners (and their parents) and a Saturday highlight has been Story Hour.

The 2nd Annual Treasure Island Drive July 4th Bike Parade in Amagansett was a success this year. The parade is a “homegrown” (started by parents who wanted to do a parade) event that really captures the small town spirit of Amagansett as displayed by the pictures below. The parade just keeps getting bigger, make sure that you join next year it’s fantastic.

BOYS HARBOR FIREWORKS ARE ON FOR JULY 12 IN EAST HAMPTON.
If you have a boat, anchor in the harbor. It’s an amazing, absolutely amazing time and is keeping in the the tradition of George Plimpton.
