Jerry Seinfeld just landed a new hefty paycheck from Microsoft after the computer company decided to use him as an advertising spokesperson. The move is desinged to combat Steve Job’s constant advertisements that poke fun at Microsoft Computer. We guess Bill Gates decided to go to the master of humor to sell his PC’s.
Seinfeld’s house in East Hampton, known for its baseball field, most likely is home to few…hundred PCs now that this deal has been announced. Wonder if Seinfeld will be able to make PC’s cool again.

The Stella Adler Studio of Acting is hosting a fundraiser for The Roy Scheider Scholarship Endowment Fund at the home of John Randolph Hearst, Jr. in Watermill on August 23rd. And you have got to go.
The late Roy Scheider was a respected member of the acting community and a former board member of the Stella Adler Studio. The Roy Scheider Scholarship Endowment Fund has been established to enable low-income, inner-city youth to study acting for four years on a full scholarship at the Studio.
Ellen Adler, Brenda Siemer Scheider and John Randolph Hearst, Jr. are hosting the benefit and we are expecting notable people from the theatre and arts community. In past years, guests have included: Joe Pintauro, Holland Taylor, Sidney Lumet, Joanna Gleason, Mercedes Ruehl, Eli Wallach and Frank Langella.

Our favorite superhero Sir Ivan just recently performed at the Metro NY Balloon & Music Festival this past Saturday. Sir Ivan is a busy guy with a busy schedule. He recently led The Salute to Israel Parade alongside Mayor Michael Bloomberg & Governor David Patterson to Celebrate Israel’s 60th and is known as Mr. Mitzvah on the hit show Who Wants to be a Superhero. Way to save the world, Mr. Mitzvah. Look forward to the new album.

Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels is casting females ages 21 and up including models, musicians, artists, rocker chicks, and any fun single girls. Characters wanted. Tattoos, wild hair, and a rock n’ roll personality are a plus. VH1 is loading up a tour bus filled with beautiful babes and taking them on tour across the country. The contestants will face new challenges to see if they can handle the rock star life on the road.

Speaking of Books, Katie Lee Joel’s (Billy Joel’s Wife) book signing is happening the Saturday and we all want to go because Billy Joel has excellent taste in women.
Her book is called the The Comfort Table and it has some really good recipes! This event takes place at the new Yigal Azrouel boutique in Watermill (The Hamptons), located at 700 Montauk Highway, from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday, June 21st. Complementary cocktails will be served.

Without a doubt, this is the greatest book that has ever been written EVER!

The East Hampton Cinema on Main Street is where the world-class filmmakers who live here hold movie premieres.
I can think of at least a dozen films that have been introduced here, where they have rolled out the red carpet, put up the felt ropes, and positioned the paparazzi alongside to shoot the stars as they come in. But whenever I pass this theater, what I remember most is the very first premiere ever held here.
As it happens, it was not only the first one but also the biggest and most successful one. The film is still among the 10 highest-grossing movies
