Renne Zellweger was on Letterman last week promoting her movie and talked about the restaurant her and Jon Bon Jovi revived, The Blue Parrot in East Hampton. Very cool to get an East Hampton shout out. Renne looked like she was in unbelievable shape.
I had Dos Equis at the Blue Parrot last week and felt like the world’s most interesting man. A lot have speculated that the restaurant is not the same. But you can still get a burrito there and a beer for under twenty bucks and the decor is EXACTLY the same. Also, almost everybody that works there is a local, so I don’t get why so many are sad that ownership has changed. It’s a blessing that it is still there in East Hampton to go out to eat in a relaxed place that is tex mex.
ANYWAY. Here is the clip where she talks about the restaurant in East Hampton to the whole world. My guess is that business will go up after that!

Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa
I mean, do you really need to say anything else? The couple, of course, will be at the Hampton Classic this weekend, just like a zillion other celebs and ridiculously rich people, as well as ridiculously poor newspaper and magazine journalists.

Sorry to beat the whole Michael Jackson’s portrait by Andy Warhol story to death. But the auction just ended at the Vered Gallery, and we just got word that there is a hair on the painting underneath the paint.
A very credible source told me that the hair is speculated to be Warhol’s hair and that they are going to do DNA testing to find out for sure. This will increase the value of the painting if it turns out to be true.
As if the painting could get any pricier!

Yes.
There is not a single guy that grew up with Avril Lavinge music that isn’t excited about this news. We were so sad when she got married, but the super hot Lavinge was out and about in “the Hamptons” last week and even the Associated Press has picked up on the story that Lavigne may be splitting up with husband Deryck Whibley (lucky) she was seen alone (omg) partying in the Hamptons. I guess it’s just not me that didn’t get addicted to her punk hotness.
BUT WHERE WAS SHE PARTYING ASSOCIATED PRESS!? WHERE??!?! That’s the trouble with the AP, they give you just enough to make you nuts.

The whales are coming back off of Montauk, and this is always a great activity to do, and goes largely unnoticed by many tourists out here.
But after having a few years where whales were rarely seen, the humpback whales are back off of Montauk to the delight of tour boats and visitors. Scientists predict that it is because of the food supply increase off of Montauk. Visitors on the Viking Starship reported that humback whales and fin whales were amazing to see.
Go for a whale watch in Montauk!

Idiot and moronic magician David Blaine thought it would be a good idea to go swimming in the Hamptons during hurricane surf, and he wasn’t able to magically save himself from drowning.
After a Long Island wide closing of beaches thanks to dangerous rip currents and surf from Hurrcaine Bill, David Blaine, professional magician and moron, decided to ignore the rules of the lifeguards and go for a quick dip. Needless to say, his ass started drowning. The always high looking Blaine got caught in a rip tide and lifeguards at Mecox in Southampton had to swim out and rescue him. Unless you have years of real surfing experience or lifeguard training, do not even think about swimming in the ocean during hurricane waves.
The lifeguards at Mecox were pretty pissed off at Blaine, probably more pissed off then the time he hung in Central Park for a couple of days then floated away on a bunch of balloons.
This idiot could have so easily drowned. Hey David, how about stick to things you are good at, like doing disappointing stunts in NYC.
Somebody get this guy a towel and a clue.
Remember this dumb stunt? Yea I do too.
