Our thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and relatives of Christian Wolffer, the German born entrepreneur who seemed to know more about life than all of us. Wolffer, among his many talents, was a vineyard owner in Sagaponack where countless events are held along with the creation of some of the best wine in the world.

 Wolffer passed away on New Years eve while sustaining an injury while swimming in Brazil. He was in an area called Paraty, a colonial town on the southeastern coast and according to reports, most likely became injured from a boat.

He will be dearly missed by many.
