Way to go Jitney.
You can feel even better now about taking the Hampton Jitney out from Manhattan. Marketing director Jennifer Friebely just let us know about the the biodegradable, soy-based biodiesel that all of the buses are now going to be running on to get you to the Hamptons. Just another example of how this community and its businesses make sure to do their part for the environment.
No word on whether or not the Jitney is gonna gas up by taking the cooking oil from McDonalds in Southampton or if they are gonna switch from serving pretzels to French Fries. One can hope.
Isn’t it so nice to know that there is something called biodiesel that actually works? What me worry?
