Is a giant gas ball bigger then a cruise liner in our future? The news has hit the streets that the Broadwater project, a 1,200-foot-long liquefied natural gas ship that will be placed in the middle of Long Island Sound is allegedly resorting to bribes to get voting approval. We just got word that Peter Maniscalco, the president of the organization Renew Community Earth organized a protest in Manhattan against the New York League of Conservation Voters for accepting money from Broadwater and then changing their position on the issue. They have denied the allegations.
