It was one happy month for two brokers from Corcoran!
Here is an interesting real estate move. Esteemed photographer and painter Richard Prince is doing well. The 58 year old paid $9.7 million last month for 1.9-acres of property from his neighbor Diane Fuhrmann in Wainscott according to The Wall Street Journal. The purchase brings his property to about 3.2 acres.
From the The Journal:
The new parcel has a five-bedroom, roughly 5,000-square-foot house. It’s accessible only via a driveway that runs past Mr. Prince’s existing, 1.3-acre property he bought for nearly $4 million three years ago. The artist’s new property, with a pool and views of the ocean and Wainscott Pond, was listed in March for $11.5 million. Mr. Prince, known for rephotographing images from magazines ranging from muscle cars to biker-women, couldn’t be reached for comment.
It was not such a bad month for the brokers involved. Laura White, of Corcoran Group, had the listing. Cee Scott Brown also from Corcoran represented Prince.
