For two hours on a Saturday, satisfy your competitive spirit by coming down to watch the Mercedes Benz Polo Challenge, an annual event, which is held at the Bridgehampton Polo Club. The greatest equestrians in all of polo will assemble at JetOne Jets Field. The polo season begins on July 21 and runs all the way to August 25, spanning over six Saturdays. All proceeds from the six weeks of competition will go to the South Fork Breast Health Coalition for breast cancer.
This year, along with the many sponsors, there will be a T-Mobile Sidekick Lounge with Danny Masterson spinning while you watch the balls go SMACK. They will be showcasing the one-of-a-kind Sidekicks created in conjunction with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) for this years CFDA fashion awards, to benefit the CFDA’s Fashion Targets Brest Cancer initiative. CFDA designers including Phillip Lim, Tommy Hilfiger, Betsey Johnson and Cynthia Rowley, along with CFDA President Diane von Furstenberg partnered with T-Mobile to design the exclusive Sidekicks, which will be auctioned online in September to raise funds for FTBC. Every year, this event is attended by fantastic celebrities. This year, it will be hosted by actress and former “Will and Grace” star Debra Messing. Past VIP guests have included, Jay-Z, Owen Wilson, Donald Trump, Jeremy Piven, Tom Brady, Adrian Greenier, Anne Hathaway, Elizabeth Hurley, the Hilton family, Woody Harrelson and many more. Partners for the event include JetOne Jets, Alice and Olivia, St. Regis, Jaeger-LeCoulter Watches, the Trump Organization, and Hamptons Magazine. Seasonal partners are Ocean Independence Charter Yachts, 88 Greenwich, T-Mobile, Ralph Lauren, Bluefish Concierge Matches, Evian Spring Water, Amstel Light, Heineken and Zeno Platinum Cigars. Matches will be held every Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. up until August 25th.
