Yachts Are Back In Town

Sag Harbor is home to some amazing yachts this summer. There is The Intuition owned by Pat Malloy and then there’s the Highlander owned by Forbes brothers, Tim, Steve, Bob and Kip. But what really blows me away is Bad Girl, the 186-foot, custom built cruiser which will be docked in Sag Harbor for most of the summer. It is privately owned and nobody is telling by who. The owners are willing to let you borrow it for the right price and if they aren’t using it however. I put in a call to the charter representative, Nigel Burgess, who told me that the owners are on it a lot and are very selective on who can use it. With a price tag of $250,000 a week, you would think they’d have to be.

Must be nice to have a yacht. Anybody want to go sailing?

We love BAD GIRL too. She always attracts a lot of attention when she is in Sag Harbor. We get calls every summer asking about her and all the other yachts that are cruising the New England waters in the summer. They come north in the summer and then head back down to Florida, the Bahamas or the Caribbean during the winter. Many you see in New England will also head to the Mediterranean in the summer. Keep watching the docks for some other great yachts. And if you want more information on the largest yachts in the area - we are the ones to call.
