As if the Hamptons wasn’t happening enough, two things launched this weekend, affording us an even more amazing summer.
As Thrillist.com points out, busy people like us can now take non-chartered helicopters from the city to the beach, for a simple fee of $799. Fine, that’s more than I’ve ever spent on anything, but time is money, right? The ride is only 35 minutes, and … there’s no 495 traffic, dirty men honking horns, or regretful McDonalds stops.
However, if you like to have fun for a lot less cashola, I hear Sole East has officially opened its doors. The website is super sexy, and I hear the spot is “a less pretentious version of Sunset Beach.” Everyone knows the coolest people out East are hiding-out in Montauk, and Sole East is probably where they’ll surface.

Yes, by all means, take the pretentious ones elsewhere! I am sure Montauk will be thrilled to have them. (Not!)
