Robert Iler (aka AJ Soprano) celebrated this monumental Sopranos weekend the only way a New York kid knows how. In the Hamptons. To distract himself from the looming pressure of Sunday night, the series finale, Iler focused on good friends, fast cars and sexy women. What else!
Friends say Iler, who is much more light-hearted than his character, didn’t make any East End excursions other than Pink Elephant and The Estate, “He even ate his meals at the clubs.”
When psycho Sopranos fans would corner him about the final episode, Iler responded by saying how proud, accomplished and excited he felt about Sunday night’s show (which was, in fact, largely regarded as a letdown).
Don’t be surprised when Iler’s TV big sister, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, show up one of these weekends too. Her best friend is having the 30th birthday party of a lifetime, the weekend of July 6th.
